Some of my Palms
Since some years ago, i started collecting Palms. Here in Greece we have very few choices if we want to buy palms: mostly Phonix canariensis, Washingtonias, Chamerops humilis and one or two others.
So the only way to have bigger variety in Palms was to buy seeds through internet, participate in palm fora exchanging information about specific habbits and methods to germinate the various seeds.
I won't lie if i say that more than one hundred different palm species passed from my hands all these years.
Many of them are gone now, some because of being out of right climate conditions and some of my faulty care.
Most of my Palms are big seedlings in pots now. and those that seem to be more hardy are in the ground.
The following photos are some of my palms in the ground.
