Plants
Weeping Acacia (Acacia pendula) is a species of wattle which is native to Australia. It is a tree which grows up to 10 metres in height and is pendulous in form with grey green narrow phyllodes which are about 10 cm in length.
Tree shown in photo is from seed bought from Internet, which germinated easily using the boiling water method.
It seems to thrive well in our island and it does not care much about dryness.
The fragrance of Michelia Champaca for many people beleived to be the most beautiful of all flowers. There are two variations the orannge/yellow and the more rare white (Michelia Alba), which has more strong fragrance.
Mine is Michelia Alba and was obtained from Malaysia through ebay.
Still waiting to bloom though. When it does, i'll let you know.
